The Power of a Transformed Life
The Power of a transformed life. It’s so powerful when the gospel is embraced into human hearts and it brings forth a powerful life change in him. Why? Because our walk talks louder than our talk talks. Or simply our actions speak louder than words. Our life is more impacting than simply our lips.
I see in 1st Thessalonians chap 1 that there was a powerful testimony of the Thessalonian believers. Paul says you were examples, in verse 7, to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia
Verse 8 – For from you sounded word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith till God-ward is spread abroad.
They’d a powerful testimony. Their lives are turned around by the gospel. In what way, you say? Well, Paul earlier tells us that they are a people of faith, of hope, of charity. Paul also tells that they were a people who received the word of God with joy, even though they are in affliction or trials. Paul also tells their lives are now turned from seeking idols to seeking God. So all that tells me about life change. And it is a powerful testimony to the powerful gospel. Changed lives tell us about the power of the gospel. And changed lives is the best promotion of the gospel.
The mission of our church is- to be leading generations into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray that we’ll not just be repeating or reciting the gospel, but our lives will reflect the gospel. That the gospel changed my life in a powerful way! The gospel is powerful. And that will bring testimony to the powerful plan of God because of the power of the gospel and because it produces the power of transformed lives.
I pray that your lives would be so transformed, it is so loud and clear to people around you. May the gospel be effected in your life that will bring tremendous testimony to those around us. The power of a transformed life. God bless!
